We’re heading to Richmond this summer for the Greater RVA Home Show. It’s a great chance to connect with homeowners and share what we do best. We’ll need volunteers for both days, so if you’re up for it let us know!
This will be our first time at the Fall RVA Home Show, and we’re excited to see what it’s all about! We’re looking for volunteers to help us make a great first impression. We’d love to have you join us.
Celebrations All Around!
We’re excited to share some wonderful moments from our VFS family! Devon and his family welcomed baby Liliana on March 31st—she weighed 6 pounds and is already a perfect addition to their family. Mikey recently married his beautiful bride, Nicole, on February 13th! And Kendra and Duane tied the knot on May 25th, congratulations to the newlyweds! We’re so happy for Devon, Mikey, Kendra, and Duane as they begin these exciting new chapters. Congratulations to all!
THIS MONTH
Homestead 2025
We rolled up our sleeves and got to work and the results speak for themselves! Our amazing team tackled a big list of projects, from mulching and planting outside, to painting and deep cleaning inside. The hallway leading to Ted’s office is much more organized, the roof was cleared, the trucks got a full clean (inside and out!), and we even installed a TV in the warehouse. A big shoutout to everyone who helped rebuild the warehouse ramp and painted the railing!
Thank you to our entire team for bringing your energy, teamwork, and good vibes. We had a great time, and our building looks better than ever!

Making Spirits Bright with VFS
This holiday season we have some heartwarming news to share. This year, VFS put on our Santa hats and teamed up with WVEC and the Salvation Army for the Angel TreeSponsorship—an opportunity to make this Christmas extra special for deserving families.
The Angel Tree Sponsorship is a magical initiative where the Salvation Army identifies families in need and invites sponsors to sprinkle a little holiday joy into their lives. Our team is thrilled to be part of this festive journey, working alongside APEX Entertainment and Pyramid Roofing to sponsor three wonderful families right here in the Hampton Roads community.
The heartwarming tales of our sponsored families will be featured on WVEC during November 27-29th for a full-length viewing. Grab the popcorn, because you won't want to miss these uplifting stories of community spirit and holiday magic!
Cracking Shells & Taking Names
If you happened to find yourself at the Suffolk Peanut Festival this year, you might have spotted our VFS team amidst the peanutty pandemonium.
Thank you to our stellar squad who volunteered their time and energy to work our booth at the festival. You all did a wonderful job greeting guests and gathering those awesome leads!

A Sweet Scare
Happy Halloween from VFS!
Our talented team embraced their inner ghouls and goblins during the Spooky Cookie Decorating Extravaganza! Armed with an arsenal of frosting, sprinkles, and edible eyeballs, our office transformed into a confectionery cauldron of creativity. Our cookies became monster masterpieces that were almost too cute to eat (but we did anyway!).
We can't forget our four-legged colleague, Hank, who stole the spotlight with his show-stopping Halloween costume. This canine cowboy was a howlin' hoot! Yeehaw, Hank!
New to the Roster!
Luis Quintero is 23 years old and grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was in the Navy for 5 years as an Operations Specialist. He and his wife co-own a photography studio called Quintero Collective. They also own two pups, a hound dog and a husky. Luis enjoys creating and graphic design, which is why he is pursuing a degree in Marketing and Business Analytics at Old Dominion University. Welcome to the team, Luis!

Devon is a Dad
Devon and Lori Lewis welcomed their baby boy, Dominic Maxwell Lewis, on June 20th, 2023 weighing a cuddly 5lbs 8oz!
His arrival was quite the panicky surprise, but we are delighted that mom and baby are happy and healthy! We can't wait to meet the little peanut and welcome him into the VFS family!

VFS Recess!!!
Our office staff had a unique opportunity to step out of the confines of our desks and witness firsthand the incredible work done by our production team. We ventured on a job-site "field trip" for a day of training, team bonding, and learning about our industry. The highlight of the day was observing the installation of push piers and the encapsulation of a customer's crawlspace, giving us a deeper understanding of our line of work.
A Hole-in-One Baby Shower
The VFS team came together to throw a memorable baby shower for our dearest Devon. We'd like to thank everyone who donated to the Wonderfold Wagon we purchased for the Lewis family, and for all the other amazing presents. We had food, games, and of course, putt-putt golf, making this celebration an unforgettable one. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we eagerly await the arrival of Devon's little bundle of joy!

Get to know our newest member Chris Migani!
Chris is from Orange, CT. He attended Quinnipiac University, where he also played baseball. Chris received an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Business Organizational Leadership. After joining the Navy in 2015 as an officer, Chris gained knowledge and experience that led him to become a Foundation Specialist for VFS.

Returning Redefiners!
VFS returned to Omaha, Nebraska last month for the Supportworks Redefine Convention. The crew listened to guest speakers, attended training sessions, and accepted our Top Dealer Award in placing #24 in the nation for Foundation Products sales! We are proud of everything we have accomplished as a team and can't wait to see what the next year brings!

Happy St. Paddy's Day! Virginia Foundation Solutions participated in the Virginia Beach Shamrock Marathon Weekend Expo. Several of our employees participated in the race (way to go rockstar runners!), while others volunteered to work the marketing booth. We sure do have a great group of mean, green, VFS machines!
